Id software habla sobre el posible desarrollo de QUAKE 5

Con Doom 4 y RAGE esperándonos, se nos une un juego mas. El director técnico de id software Jonh Carmack , asegura que su estudio ya esta viendo las posibilidades de un futuro Quake 5.

John Carmack dijo que aun no a empezado a trabajar en el juego, pero aseguro que el futuro juego va a tratar de parecerse al primer Quake (no en gráfica obviamente) y dejando de lado a los Strogg (raza alienigena que aparece en Quake 2 y 4.

"Creemos que podría ser más interesante esta dirección que hacer más contenido Strogg ( Los Strogg son una raza alienígena ficticia, y son los enemigos a vencer en los juegos de acción Quake 2 y Quake 4, y una facción jugable en Enemy Territory: Quake Wars).Tras Quake 4, explicaba Carmack, Ciertamente tenemos facciones fuertes dentro del estudio que quieren ir en esta dirección."

 

 Por su parte, el CEO de id Software, el señor Todd Hollenshead, quiso añadir lo siguiente:

"La gente no debería preocuparse si vamos a dejar huérfano o a abandonar Quake. Somos grades fans del juego internamente."

Ahora solo queda esperar que futuro le espera a Quake 5 y Doom 4, y esperemos que no sean una secuela sin sentido y aburrida como a pasado con bastantes juegos.

El juego se  esperaría para Xbox, PS3 y PC.
